Are there other games similar to pathfinder you can recommend?

Going to be picking up this game soon. Good play through. Played both D&D and pathfinder as well as Munchkin and Munchkin Quest and D&D board games. This should be interesting.

You women continue to make some of the most professional and concise tabletop game reviews on YouTube. Much more enjoyable than watching a poorly lit reviewer rambling into their webcam for 40 minutes while awkwardly shuffling the box around in their hands.

Very clear and well made review. I was thinking of getting into the physical copy and this has helped me a lot! Thanks!

played through the first scenario with my new gaming group today, it was a lot of fun. I really like RPG in a box games and this is that played with cards. Really fun game

I wonder if anyone has used the cards as aids during a play through of the RPG campaign.

Looks like a really cool game, especially for those times you can't get a group or you just don't want to leave the house. And Kaja is pretty darn cute which makes the video even more interesting.

Bad concept. Bad design. Lack of imagination. Thumbs up for the eye candy. I will stick to having real fun.

On the comment about not having enough fluff, what I do is just roleplay the scenario as it plays out, like each person exercising their ability to RP and ability to GM at the same time.

Exploring the Woods location revealed a bandit?
Make the story of how Ezren scouted through the woods in search of a unique artifact that could help the party in their fight against JIbrail, suddenly, a bandit leaps from the trees, brandishing his dagger that flashes with the light of the morning sun, shouting out, "Only death awaits you here, mage!"
What if there is no artifact (or the location was closed then)?  Then his quest was a fluke and nothing but a worthless rumor.  Ezren squares his shoulders and levitates off to a different location.  Found an artifact?  Then Ezren, as he turns to leave senses a dark force hidden in the shadows and presses on to leave the place clean of any threat.

Having the cards at hand and the cards explored gives enough material to add your own fluff and adds a whole new story excitement to the game.  Sure, it will be longer, but then, it would be better.

Hands down THE best review of this game.  All others spend way too much time, overly wordy and takes too long to get to the point.  These guys here are short, sweet, to the point, and makes sense.  Now if they could just get a fashion make over… <3

I like seeing two confident and knowledgeable female personalities in the board game reviewing world. Keep up the great work!

Wow, I love how in-depth your review is and the 2 different perspectives you share 😀

I would recommend watching the critical plays review of the game as it is much more thorough. There is also a solo gameplay in three parts on their channel worth watching.

they were originally going to put a lot of flavor text but thought it might make you not want to play the actual rpg.

In my case I purposely don't read the fluff as I'm currently playing the Runelords campaign and don't want anything spoiled.
