If I was a youtuber, I would refuse to get review copies. Who am I to play a game before it released? I'm no more than just a simple gamer.

Hey Bryant, thanks for the tips.

Once you are done with your review on the product do have to send the copy of the game back?

Hey, I have been a PR for the videogame industry for 12 years, specialized in LatAm media.

While doing some research I found you video and I want to congratulate you!!! Great way explaining how this works, it is very helpful to you viewers and to us in the PR business. Keep this videos going, I am gonna check out your other videos.

If I may add something, I would say that sending your review back to whom gave you the code, goes a long way, as it shows the work done and helps us in the reporting phase of our job. And it also serves to create a better relationship with the agencies.

Cya at E3 in a few weeks!

This was the first video i have seen by you fam. Let me just say, the passion you have for your brand and the willingness to help others who are grinding (myself included) to make a name for their selves. Stay Humble Fam. Remember, we can be anything we want in this world…the question is are you willing to put in the work?

Speaking of views and growing my audience. I've noticed that YouTube will sometimes count my own views when I check out the page for one of my videos. My question is, is it really counting these views and if so, does the small time I spend on the video (often just seconds) affect my watch time for that video. Am I actively harming my own videos by going to their page?

I have a question when you get a review copy do you get to keep the game. And can you use it to make a let's play on your channel and then do a review

  • BinxTV 1 month ago

hey bro i don't have enough subs can you get me a free copy if a good game for the xbox one

  • GoldenAgeGamer 1 month ago

So I need to get my sub's up before i even begin to start asking for codes? I've been writing about games for years but that was just my blog, however I have a really nice voice and (I feel) presentation so I want to eventually branch out from "Let's Plays" to actual game reviews without having to come out of pocket for every game…

This is the first gaming related video where I heard someone say, "God bless you".

Would this apply to review sites too? Or is it different?

  • +Alloy Seven I really want to become a video game journalist, and have a lot of talent, interest and passion for writing and reviews as well as video games. How do I get there? What first steps did you take to get where you are today? I really want to be able to review video games.
    Thank you!

I came here because they seem to be giving the Fire emblem SE like candy to reviewers and the damn thing is nowhere to be found T__T. I'm desperate.

Your video was quite helpful, although I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer. Example: If I wanted to get a review copy for Naughty Dog's upcoming title Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, would I contact Naughty Dog or PlayStation, as Naughty Dog is a first-party studio owned by PlayStation. Also, how do you find out company's contact information so easily? It would be very helpful if you could answer these. Thanks a lot!

  • JustAnotherGuy OnYoutube 1 month ago

Great video! But i have two questions… i can ask for a review copy after a lot of time from the launch of the game? And if i'm a streamer and i want to ask for a review copy, what should i say to the developer/publisher?

  • Kepkaaa 1 month ago

So basically if you give bad reviews you don't get any games to do reviews about, because the publishers are afraid it's going to affect the sales? Money, money, money, money, money, money, money !!! All about money!!

Great information! I like how in-depth you explained your points, count me as another subscriber. And here's a "Like" for your trouble too. I plan to go over more of your YouTube tips as I prepare to start my own channel. Thank you very much, and I look forward to more.

Thx and I want to do reviews but I want a different cod anyway because cod aw is getting boring and no one will license transfer

  • CaptainSauce 1 month ago

Great video. I had recently started having more confidence in approaching developers for promotional/review copies and have been successful! Id like to add that if you're a small channel, you might find more success with smaller indie developers who get less exposure.
